(1) WHAT IS THE CONCEPT OF BASIC INTELLIGENCE?

The NATO definition of basic intelligence is “Intelligence, derived from any source, that may be used as reference material for planning and as a basis for processing subsequent information or intelligence.”

(2) WHAT IS COUNTERINTELLIGENCE?

Counterintelligence is information gathered and activities conducted to protect against espionage, other intelligence activities, sabotage, or assassinations conducted by or on behalf of foreign governments or elements of foreign organizations, persons, or international terrorist activities.

(3) WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTELLIGENCE AND COUNTERINTELLIGENCE?

In essence, Intelligence seeks to identify information about the enemy – such as their strength, capabilities, locations and intentions. Counter Intelligence seeks to limit the ability of the enemy to identify the same information about us.

Caribbean Caricom/Central and South America Region, Our main goal and focus is to collaborate & cooperate with intelligence agency throughout the region, To provide a high level of intelligence and counterintelligence, Mainly for Narcotics, Border Protection, Illegal Migration, Terrorism, Human Trafficking, at the IBSSA-CC

It is our strong belief based on our track record and a working model that exists in Trinidad & Tobago, for over 20 years It can be deployed now throughout the CARICOM, and be very effective in sharing intelligence, and joint intelligence operations between member states CARICOM Regional countries. The time has now come where we have to put our ego aside and work together for one common goal. For The Security of our citizen of our members of states countries.
